Even though this electric skateboard is designed for all terrains, it is also capable of hitting a remarkable top speed, which makes it one of the fastest e-skates in the world today.

There are many all-terrain electric boards out there, and usually, these boards with suspension are too big and bulky. 

Propel has a unique design which is called “Urban Independent Suspension.” What makes the Endeavor2 GT stand out from others is that it still keeps the size compact while having a full suspension system. 

The Endeavor2 GT has some interesting components that make this electric skateboard even better.

Deck

The Propel Endeavor2 GT has a hand-made 3K carbon fiber deck, which is designed for durability and stability. 

Some decks are made from bamboo and maple, which tends to bend under pressure, but the carbon fiber deck of the Endeavor2 GT does not bend, which makes the board extremely stable even at high speeds.

This deck has a radial concave shape design, which means it is slightly curved. It helps you to keep your feet secure and stable, which makes it easier to control and balance the e-board.

This electric skateboard also has an inbuild finger well on the sides of the deck so that you can easily hold and lift the board without any issues.

The actual length of the Endeavor2 GT is 28.7 inches (73 cm), and it is 17.2 inches (43.7 cm) wide. 

You find the standing area of the board is slightly reduced due to the suspension directly connecting to the deck. 

This electric skateboard is actually 4.4 inches (110 mm) above the ground, so this means you can easily ride on rough terrains like bumps, rocks and cracks without causing any discomfort.

Motor and Speed

The Propel Endeavor 2 GT is equipped with a dual set of 6374 belt-driven motors. The motors of this electric skateboard have a high torque output, which means it can handle rough terrains and steep inclines with ease.

What makes this e-skate even more powerful is that it can hit the top speed of 55 km/h (34 mph), which is truly impressive. It is easily one of the fastest electric skateboards on the market today.

Even though it has a high top speed, the board also has excellent acceleration and maintains stability without losing control, even at high-speed runs.

One of the standout features of this e-board is its excellent hill-climbing capability. This electric skateboard is capable of tackling inclines up to a whopping 38%, which is perfect for handling steep hills and rough trails.

The belt drive system also plays an important role in the board’s performance. This belt drive system gives the board high torque, which improves the acceleration, hill climbing ability and handling any road conditions.

Moreover, when you are riding on bumpy roads and rocky terrains, you will feel less vibrations, and as a result, you will feel more comfortable.  

However, keep in mind that the belt drives need regular maintenance as the belts wear out over time.

Wheels

This propel off-road electric skateboard has 200mm Bravura pneumatic wheels, which are built for handling off-road trials and city streets.
These tires provide excellent shock absorption and reduce vibrations on rough terrains, which makes your ride feel smoother and gives you a comfortable ride.

Propel made a major upgrade from the previous model by replacing the old plastic wheel hubs with high-quality aero-grade alloy.
This ugradation from Propel made the wheels stronger, more durable and more resilient for all terrains.

These set of large wheels have some benefits like you will get a better grip on surfaces like dirt, gravel and uneven ground. You can also roll over certain obstacles easily without getting stuck on rough trails.

These are pneumatic tires, and they may need some maintenance if you are using them too much. So check the air pressure frequently, or you might need to replace the inner tubes if it gets punctured.

However, if you plan to ride the Endeavor 2 GT on smooth roads like city tracks, Propel also gives you an alternative wheel option to buy, like the 7-inch street tires. 

It is a great way to customize your electric skateboard if you want a different riding experience.

Battery and Range 

This e-skate uses a Samsung 50G 12S5P battery with a total capacity of 1110Wh (25Ah). This high battery capacity makes sure that you can ride for a long period of time, which makes it perfect for commuting and adventurous off-road rides.

The charging time might be a little surprising as it takes around 5 hours to charge completely. Because of its large battery size, I think it is quite natural.

I would recommend you charge it at night time so that you don’t have to worry about running out of battery in the middle of a ride.

The Endeavor 2 GT can reach up to a whopping 71 km (44 miles), which is truly remarkable for an electric skateboard. 

However, the range also depends on some crucial factors like the weight of the rider, the type of terrain you are riding on, speed etc. 

If you have an average weight of around 75 kg, then you can expect a range of up to 71 km. But if you weigh around 100 kg, then you can see a reduction of range, which can take you up to 50 km (31 miles), which is not that bad.

Suspension system

One of the remarkable features of the Propel Endeavor 2 GT is that it is equipped with a patented Urban Independent Suspension (UIS) system.

Many standard skateboard trucks use a single-axis pivot system, which means both wheels on the same truck are connected and move together. 

So if one of the wheels hits a bump or cracks, the other wheel will be affected. So, it will make your ride feel less stable, and you will feel jerks.

On the other hand, the Urban Independent Suspension (UIS) system on the Endeavor 2 GT gives each wheel its suspension. 

It means when one of the wheels hits an uneven obstacle, it simply moves on its own without affecting the other wheel.

As a result, this suspension board gets better contact with the ground and absorbs the shocks more efficiently. This way, you will be able to ride longer, smoothly and comfortably, especially on rough and uneven trails. It also gives you less strain on your feet and knees.

This e-board has a quick and easy bushing swapping, and it takes around just five minutes to do so. It helps you to fine-tune your board’s responsiveness by using bushing of hardness levels.

• In the case of soft bushings, it is perfect for carving and making sharp turns, which gives you a flexible ride.

• On the other hand, the hard bushings provide better stability when you are riding at high-speed runs, which will make you feel more control over the board.

ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) and Remote

This Propel electric skateboard features a customized FOC 2.0 (Field-Oriented Control) ESC, which is an upgradable controller that handles the power, acceleration and braking.

FOC controllers are generally known for delivering controllable power so that you won’t feel any jerky acceleration or unstable braking.
Let me tell you how.

When you hit the throttle or the brakes from your remote, the board reacts smoothly and steadily. So you won’t be able to feel any sudden jumps even when you are riding on rough terrains like gravel, cracks or grass.

This ESC gives a steady 45A of continuous discharge, which allows the board to get plenty of torque to climb on steep inclines, unlike the earlier Endeavor 2 Pro model, which uses VESC controllers, so you can’t change the settings by yourself.

But Propel has already adjusted it to balance the power, control and safety. So you don’t have to change anything by yourself.

Compared to other models, Propel made one of the biggest upgrades, which is that they are offering the riders four different braking and acceleration modes. 

You can customize these modes based on your riding style and the type of terrain you are riding on. These modes can be switched directly from the remote.

Although the Endeavor 2 GT may have a high top speed, that doesn’t mean it will be hard for beginners to ride. Firstly, let’s cover the four braking modes in depth.

Braking modes

The Endeavor 2 GT offers four braking options designed to match different rider levels and riding styles. Let’s break down in detail.

Brake low

This is the most gentle setting and is beginner-friendly. It slows you down gradually and smoothly when you are riding at a lower speed. There are no sudden jumps or jerks, which makes it perfect for safe riding.

Brake medium

This braking mode is great for everyday rides, especially when you are riding at average speeds. It gives you reliable and smooth braking, which doesn’t feel too aggressive.

Brake high 

This setting has a strong stopping power and is a great choice for intermediate riders who love going faster and want full braking control over the board. 

Brake Pro

The Brake Pro is the strongest mode available but for pro users only. This setting is for experienced and advanced riders who tend to ride aggressively. It gives you the ability to stop fast, which is crucial for emergencies or tackling steep terrains.

Now, let’s see the acceleration modes.

Acceleration modes

Now let’s talk about the acceleration. Honestly, every rider feels different about speed. The Endeavor 2 GT has four acceleration modes, so you can choose the one that feels right for you.

Speed mode 1 

The first speed mode setting is perfect for beginners who have just started out riding for the first time. The board gives a slow and steady power, which makes you feel comfortable with starting and turning without feeling overwhelmed. Just think of this mode as a “Training wheels” mode.

Speed mode 2 

Once you are done with the basics, it is time to push your ride a little faster. This one is the cruise mode, which gives you a little more speed, and the acceleration feels very smooth while staying in full control. It is the perfect choice for intermediate riders who want to cruise comfortably.

Speed mode 3 

This advanced mode is for experienced riders who want to have real performance. The acceleration is very strong and also gives you quick takeoffs in no time. This mode is great for riders who like to cover long distances at high speeds.

Turbo mode 

The Turbo mode gives the board its full potential, like rapid acceleration and high torque. It is specially designed for pro-level riders and is great for tackling steep hills up to 38% inclines and off-road terrains. Because of the high intensity, this mode is not recommended for new riders, but for pros, this thing is the beast.

The ESC is not all about speed, but it also has some excellent features. You see, you don’t just have to bend down to start the board. It has a roll-to-start system, so the board powers up as soon as you push it. 

Some advanced riders who enjoy making their electric skateboards may miss the fully customizable VESC controllers. 

But Propel made things really simple with their in-built ESC design. So, there is no need for any complicated setup or software required. This way, it makes sure that you won’t run into any technical problems from messing with the settings. 

However, if you are one of those riders who likes to fine-tune their setup, then Propel also has an upgradable FOC 3.0 ESC option for the Endeavor 2 GT. 

This FOC 3.0 ESC controller gives you more power (up to 70A of discharge), smoother performance, and customized settings the way you want them.

Lights and Visibility

One of the standout features of the Endeavor 2 GT is the in-built integrated lighting system. Propel has designed its lighting control system that gives you the ability to manage the headlight and taillight directly from the remote.

Each headlight is equipped with 2000 lumens, which gives you a total of 4000 lumens of brightness. These two headlights are bright enough to lighten up dark roads, low-light conditions and off-road trials.

On the other hand, the rear taillights blink actively to alert the vehicles and people behind you, which makes you stay safe in unpredictable traffic conditions. 

Should You Buy the all-terrain Endeavor 2 GT?

In my opinion, the Endeavor 2 GT is one of the best electric skateboard that will certainly live up to your expectations.

The high speed and power of this e-skate is truly impressive. 

Though the price tag can be overwhelming for some people, with the overall design of the board, I think it’s definitely worth it.
